V3 I Guess?

Well hello there...

You might have noticed a few changes around here. If not, allow me to show you around (again.)

EnjoyThis has gone through a couple revisions as I've built this out, so let's call this V3 (or something similar.)

Basically, as I've been playing with it and trying to make it the exact thing I've been wanting for a few years, I've gotten some great feedback from friends about what they want it to be too. So first things first: thank you for the feedback. Second: keep it coming. Third, let's get to the changes.

You'll notice a few new tabs above: Friends & Groups.

Friends lets you find and connect with folks you might know on EnjoyThis. I've been asked a couple times for this, so wish granted.

Groups lets you create and join private groups to share links and content with your friends, family, coworkers, classmates, or whomever else you choose. (I have a sciencey things group if anyone wants an invite...) This was also a common request, and it makes sense for the way I and others use this. So, enjoy! (No pun intended.)

Next on the list are a couple bigger requests:

• An iOS app being the primary one, which is about 80% done right now.

• Next is (private) search, so you can find that thing you know you got, but don't remember from whom or where you put it.

• After that will be a Discover pane, which lets you find curated content you might enjoy. (Don't worry - this will be opt-in, not obligatory.)

So have fun with the new features, and let me know how you feel about them. I’m always open to more feedback, as I want to make this the easiest, simplest way to share and receive the things you’ll love to read, see, hear, and know (but in your own free time.)
