1. Introduction
EnjoyThis ("we", "us", or "our") operates enjoythis.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect your email address when you create an account. We collect the username you choose during onboarding. We collect URLs and notes you submit when sending content to others. We collect usage data such as which features you interact with, managed through our analytics instrumentation. We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are processed by Stripe, who has its own privacy policy.
3. How we use your information
We use your email address to send you magic link sign-in emails, transactional notifications (such as new items in your inbox), and optional daily or weekly digest emails. We use your username to identify you to other users in the send flow and on your inbox. We use URL and note data to power the content inbox and global deduplication features. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to any third party.
4. Contact matching and network discovery
If you use the network discovery feature, you may optionally submit a list of email addresses to find friends on EnjoyThis. These email addresses are used solely to match against existing accounts in real time. They are never stored on our servers, never shared with other users, and discarded immediately after the match is returned to you.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate EnjoyThis: Supabase for database and authentication, Resend for transactional email delivery, Stripe for payment processing, and Vercel for hosting. Each of these services processes data only as necessary to provide their function and is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, inbox, sent items, replies, folders, and blocks are permanently deleted from our systems. Stripe may retain billing records as required by applicable financial regulations. Deleted data is removed within a reasonable period and is not recoverable.
7. Your rights
You may update your username and notification preferences at any time from the Settings page. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page under the Danger Zone section. Upon deletion, all associated data is permanently removed. If you have questions about data we hold or wish to make a request, contact us at support@enjoythis.app.
8. Cookies and local storage
EnjoyThis uses cookies solely for authentication session management via Supabase Auth. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is shown because we do not set any non-essential cookies.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@enjoythis.app and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
